20/07/2026: RISC Summer 2026: International State-Of-The-Art Research On Artificial Intelligence and Symbolic Mathematics

The science event took place from July 6 – 10, 2026 at Hagenberg Castle.

The Research Institute for Symbolic Computation (RISC) at the JKU Linz hosted the event, that brought together one hundred participants from fifteen countries in Europe, America, Asia, and Australia.

The scientific event comprised two co-located international tracks: SCML-2026, that examined the integration of symbolic computation and machine learning for the development of hybrid AI systems, and SCDDE 2026, that focuses on symbolic methods of differential and difference equation with applications in particle physics, combinatorics, and biology.

The event combined fundamental research in mathematics and current challenges in technology to promote a constructive academic exchange, and support the active research community of Hagenberg.
